Hyderabad: In the jurisdiction of the Chaderghat police station, a young man killed his younger brother by slitting his throat with a knife after the younger brother, who was drunk, created a disturbance. Police reported that the deceased, Haider Hussain, a resident of Usmanpura, Chaderghat, had a younger son named Safdar Hussain (24), who worked as a lassi maker and was addicted to alcohol. Every day, he would return home intoxicated and pick fights with his mother, Syeda Zara Fatima, and other family relatives.
Following this pattern, last night at 11 PM, Safdar Hussain returned home drunk, argued with his mother Zara Fatima and his elder brother Hashim alias Aslam Hussain, then went to his room and fell asleep. On Wednesday morning at 5 AM, Safdar Hussain woke up, started picking up household items and throwing them, causing damage inside the house. When his mother Zara Fatima intervened to stop him, Safdar Hussain threatened to kill her and pushed her.
