Police stated on Sunday that the victim filed a complaint at the Tamar police station on October 7, and her medical examination was conducted on October 8. The Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Bundu, Om Prakash, stated that ten accused have been identified in the gang rape case. On Saturday, police arrested four accused and also took two minors into custody. All are residents of Tamar. Police are conducting raids at several locations to apprehend the remaining four accused.
In her complaint, the young woman alleged that her cousin deliberately trapped her, which led to the incident. According to the complaint filed by the victim, the incident occurred on September 30. He stated that the victim’s cousin had called her to the Dussehra fair at the Maradhan turn, where two men arrived and one of them raped her.
The officer stated that they then took the girl to Sona Tungri Rugdi, where two other men raped her. From there, they took her to Bundu, where three other men raped her. From Bundu, she was taken to Ranchi, where another man raped her. Later, they left her at the Maradhan turn in the Tamar area.
