New Delhi, Amid rising demand for electric vehicles and a surge in raw material prices, Ather Energy has decided to increase the prices of its scooters. The company has announced this new pricing policy, effective from January, which may require customers to spend more starting next year.

The electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ather Energy announced on Monday a price increase of up to ₹3,000 for all its scooter models, effective from January 1st. The company stated that this increase is being implemented due to rising costs of raw materials, foreign exchange, and key electronic components globally.

Ather Energy’s current product portfolio includes the 450 series scooters and the Rizta. Their starting prices range from ₹1,14,546 to ₹1,82,946. The company mentioned it is currently offering benefits of up to ₹20,000 in select cities under its ‘Electric December’ program.
