Hyderabad, the High Court adjourned the decision on the bail petition filed by former BRS legislator pilot Rohit Reddy in the drugs case registered in Moinabad. High Court Justice K. Sujan heard Rohit Reddy’s bail petition on Tuesday.

On behalf of the petitioner, Advocate T. Pradyumna Kumar Reddy argued that the investigation into the case has been completed. He stated that Rohit Reddy has been in jail since March 15. Out of the 11 accused in this case, only three were sent to jail. Notices were issued to the others. He said these cases were registered entirely for political reasons. Except for Section 307, all other charges carry a sentence of up to 7 years. He claimed that the statements recorded by the police were obtained under pressure. He demanded the dismissal of these cases, which were filed with malicious intent.

The advocate said that evidence related to this is before the court. Public Prosecutor Palle Nageswara Rao disagreed, stating that this is not the first time the accused have organized parties at farmhouses and supplied drugs at these parties. Similar incidents have occurred before. He said that the petitioner not only consumes drugs but also supplies them. After hearing the arguments, the judge adjourned the decision until April 28.
