Islamabad, October 08, 2025. Amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, a controversial statement from Pakistan’s Defense Minister has surfaced. He claimed that recent military actions by Pakistan have led to a decline in popularity of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This statement could further escalate existing tensions between the two countries.

Pakistan’s Defense Minister stated that India is engaging in provocative actions due to the Bihar elections. He made this statement during a Wednesday broadcast on a Pakistani news channel.

The minister claimed that Pakistan’s military action against India in May has reduced Modi’s popularity. Even his supporters are now criticizing him. Six Indian fighter jets were shot down during the conflict.

Minister Claims – Countries Supporting India Are Now Silent

The minister alleged that countries that previously remained neutral during India-Pakistan conflicts have now joined Pakistan’s side, while those supporting India have fallen silent. This development will trouble India for years to come.

He also stated that India was only united during Aurangzeb’s time. History shows that except for Aurangzeb’s rule, India was never completely unified. Pakistan was created in the name of Allah. While we may fight among ourselves at home, we unite when facing India.

Previously Threatened – India Will Be Buried Under Aircraft Debris

Three days earlier, the minister had threatened India, stating that if war breaks out this time, India will be buried under the debris of its own fighter aircraft. On Sunday, he wrote on social media platform X that Indian leadership is making provocative statements to regain lost credibility.

The minister accused New Delhi of deliberately increasing tensions to divert citizens’ attention from domestic challenges.

‘Chinese Weapons Performed Excellently Against India’

Pakistan has been making continuous provocative statements in recent days. Two days ago, a Pakistani military spokesperson stated that Chinese weapons performed excellently during the conflict against India in May.

He said they are open to all kinds of technology. Chinese technology worked very well. Pakistan shot down seven Indian fighter jets, while India didn’t shoot down any Pakistani aircraft.
