A speeding car driven by intoxicated youths came from the wrong direction and collided with a young woman’s car near the SSP office in Mathura. Six people, including the woman, were injured in the accident. They have been admitted to a hospital, where two are in critical condition.
Some youths from the Govindpur area were heading towards the city at high speed in a Baleno car. All of them were intoxicated and had completely lost control of the vehicle.
During this, the uncontrolled car veered into the wrong direction and violently crashed into a Creta car driven by a young woman coming from the opposite side. The impact was so severe that the front ends of both vehicles were reduced to rubble.
In the accident, the car’s occupants Mahesh Gupta, resident of Mohan Nagar Birla Temple; Sahil, resident of Radheshyam Colony behind Duty Palace, Govind Nagar; Deepak, resident of Pushp Vihar near Duke Palace; Sohil and Salman, residents of Navneet Nagar Kotwali, were injured.
Meanwhile, the young woman in the Creta car, Avleen Kaur, resident of Civil Line, Sadar Bazar police station area, was seriously injured. With the help of locals, the injured were immediately taken to the hospital. Due to the woman’s critical condition, her relatives have taken her to a private hospital in Faridabad.
An investigation is underway. A case will be registered upon receiving the complaint.
SSP office
