India

Congress

SP

SP is a common abbreviation for São Paulo, Brazil’s largest city and a major cultural and economic hub. Founded in 1554 by Jesuit missionaries, it grew from a small colonial settlement into a sprawling metropolis, driven by coffee exports and industrialization in the 19th and 20th centuries. Today, São Paulo is known for its diverse cultural sites, such as the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP) and the historic Sé Cathedral, reflecting its rich history and vibrant contemporary arts scene.

TMC

TMC most commonly refers to the Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai, India, a premier institution for cancer treatment and research. Established in 1941 with support from the Tata Trusts, it has grown into a national comprehensive cancer center and is a leader in oncology care and education in the region. Alternatively, TMC could stand for the Tabernacle of the Most High Church or other organizations, but the medical center is the most widely recognized reference.

Originally founded as the Tata Memorial Hospital, it became a national center for cancer care and is now a comprehensive campus comprising the hospital and the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC). It has played a pivotal role in advancing oncology in India, offering affordable care and conducting cutting-edge research.
