Bahadurgarh, 18 May 2026. The administration has taken a strict stance against employees who were negligent in the national census work in Bahadurgarh. Preparations for action have begun against 29 employees found absent from duty. The administration has made it clear that negligence in government responsibilities will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and FIRs may be registered against the absent employees.

According to information, the employees recommended for action include 17 male and 12 female enumerators. These employees are accused of deliberately remaining absent from national census duty and not taking their assigned work seriously.

According to officials, employees were assigned duty for the important national task of the census, but several employees were found absent without permission. This affected the survey and data collection work. After receiving reports of the matter, responses have been sought from the relevant departments.

The administration says that the census is a very important process for the country’s policies, plans, and development work. In such a situation, any kind of negligence will be considered serious. Notices are being issued to the absent employees, and legal action will be taken if satisfactory responses are not received.

According to sources, concerned officials have been instructed to prepare a list of those negligent in their duty and ensure action. Administrative options such as suspension, salary withholding, and departmental inquiry are also being considered.

Experts believe that the success of a large national campaign like the census depends on the active participation of employees. In this context, the administration’s strict action is seen as a warning for other employees as well.
