Emphasis on Human Values Alongside Bookish Knowledge; Gujarat’s Only School Providing Education Through Robotics
Surat: The local educational institution, The Radiant International School, is transforming the traditional format of education. This school is developing human values and global perspective in students, believing that true education is not merely literacy, but lies in making students better human beings and preparing them for social welfare.
The initiative to transform individuals into humans is based on the philosophy that “human welfare cannot be achieved through bookish knowledge alone. For this, one must evolve from being an individual to becoming human and adopt the qualities of humanity.”
Keeping this thinking in mind, the school organizes activities and celebrations alongside studies that promote spirituality, sensitivity, and human behavior in students.
The school’s most significant feature is drawing inspiration from global education systems. After visiting Finland, the country with the world’s best education system, and combining its innovations with the Indian education system, a unique ‘Indo-Finnish’ education system was initiated.
Additionally, visits have been made to educational institutions in Japan and the famous school ‘SECMOL’ by Sonam Wangchuk in Leh-Ladakh, aiming to promote scientific approach and practical knowledge among students.
This school is Gujarat’s only such institution where education is provided through robotics, enabling students to keep pace with modern technology.
In the academic field, the school has demonstrated through consistent 100% results in board examinations that with proper guidance and confidence, every student can achieve success. In sports as well, the school’s students have established many records at district, state, and national levels.
Under visionary leadership, this school has not only become a center of academic excellence but is also contributing to building a society where citizens are not only knowledgeable but also filled with human values.
