On the auspicious occasion of Holi, with the aim of filling life with colors of joy and spreading the light of hope in the lives of many needy people through blood donation, a grand and successful blood donation camp was organized in Surat by the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha with the cooperation of Unique Dental Care. This noble act of social service conveyed an inspiring message of humanity and the spirit of service.

The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a peace recitation by revered Swami Saralanidhidas, who had arrived from the Akshardham Temple in Surat. In his blessings, Swamiji inspired everyone to adopt the values of social service, blood donation, and mutual cooperation in life.

Organizers were honored by presenting them with mementos in the dignified presence of the Chairman of the Red Cross Blood Center and the former Mayor of Surat city. A call was also made to spread awareness among youth for maximum blood donation, eye donation, body donation, and organ donation.

On this occasion, under the guidance of the Gujarat State Executive President and the General Secretary, and with the active cooperation of the Organization Minister, District President, and all volunteers, a total of 45 bottles of blood were collected, which will prove life-saving for needy patients.

During the program, wishing all the organization’s volunteers happiness, prosperity, and excellent health, a resolution was expressed to continuously advance works for the welfare of society with a spirit of unity, cooperation, and dedication within the organization. Social workers from various communities were also present and commended the blood donors.

This camp organized by the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha presents an excellent example of humanity, service, and unity in society. A resolution was taken to continue such service-oriented programs for social welfare in the future as well.

Akshardham Temple

Akshardham Temple in Delhi is a modern Hindu temple complex inaugurated in 2005, built to honor Bhagwan Swaminarayan. It showcases traditional Indian architecture, intricate stone carvings, and cultural exhibits, drawing inspiration from ancient Vedic texts. While the temple itself is new, it reflects millennia-old spiritual traditions and craftsmanship.

Red Cross Blood Center

The Red Cross Blood Center is a facility operated by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, dedicated to collecting, testing, and distributing donated blood for medical emergencies, surgeries, and patient care. Its history is tied to the broader humanitarian mission of the Red Cross, which, following its founding in 1863, expanded its services in the 20th century to include organized blood banking—a critical innovation that saves millions of lives annually.
