Helicopter crash disrupts pilgrimage operations by Aryan Aviation

Following a helicopter crash in the Kedarnath region on Sunday morning, the government has immediately suspended operations by Aryan Aviation for the Char Dham pilgrimage, according to an official statement.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation stated that the helicopter took off from Guptkashi at 05:10 AM and landed at Shri Kedarnath Ji helipad at 05:18 AM. It departed again for Guptkashi at 05:19 AM and crashed near Gaurikund between 05:30 and 05:45 AM. The aircraft was carrying five passengers, one infant, and one crew member.
