Washington, June 18. The United States has adopted a strict stance towards people residing illegally in the country. President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to 36 countries.
Trump stated that these countries must improve their travel documentation verification processes and immediately address the status of their citizens residing illegally in the United States. These countries have until Wednesday to present their action plans. Thereafter, they must implement those plans within 60 days or face potential travel bans on their citizens.
A confidential diplomatic cable sent by the State Department has instructed US embassies and consulates worldwide to discuss with the governments of these countries how seriously they are taking American concerns.
