On September 24, the 2025 Beijing Cultural Forum featured a remarkable display of top cultural creative products, including the Palace Museum’s « Palace Pat Light » inspired by the « A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains » painting, the Imperial College’s « Number One Scholar » refrigerator magnet, and « Dream of the Red Chamber » collector’s card series. This year’s forum introduced a premium cultural creations exhibition area for the first time, bringing together over 600 exquisite cultural creative items. The exhibition showcased Beijing’s innovative achievements and industrial vitality as the national cultural center in the cultural creative field, attracting numerous Chinese and international guests to visit.

The exhibition area design blended traditional aesthetics with modern technology. The main color scheme featured blue symbolizing innovation and openness, accented with vibrant yellow and Chinese red. These three colors intertwined to reflect regional cultural characteristics and convey the concept of cultural integration.

The main exhibition area, titled « Beijing’s Cultural Creativity Shines with Contemporary Charm, » included sections for « Museum and Park Cultural Creations, » « Yanjing Eight Extraordinary Crafts Intangible Cultural Heritage Masterpieces, » and « Trendy Cultural Products Featuring Classic IPs. » It gathered 80 enterprises and institutions spanning more than 10 fields including museums, historical gardens, theaters, libraries, intangible cultural heritage, film and television, and trendy toys, presenting their latest cultural creative achievements.

At the exhibition entrance, Galaxy Universal’s « Galbot g1 » robot and Tsinghua University team’s dancing robot « Booster T1 » welcomed visitors. In the cultural technology experience zone, AI photo stations and « Uncle Kai Storytelling AI Chicken Feifei » interactive products allowed guests to experience how the integration of culture and technology is transforming daily life through immersive interactions.

The exhibition featured numerous popular cultural creations including the National Museum’s phoenix crown, Temple of Heaven’s caisson ceiling designs, Imperial College’s « Number One Scholar » series, and Temple of Heaven four-season refrigerator magnets. It also displayed Yanjing Eight Extraordinary intangible cultural heritage masterpieces like cloisonné and carved lacquer, publisher hot-sellers such as « Lu Xun IP » products and « Dream of the Red Chamber » collector’s cards, along with trendy designs including IP toys, blind boxes, and plush cultural creations.

The Dongcheng District exhibition area offered hands-on intangible cultural heritage experiences with inner painting techniques, where masters demonstrated their skills and invited guests to participate. The area also featured technological interactive installations including replica letterpress printing machines and AI virtual guide tours to enhance engagement and entertainment. The Xicheng District exhibition area presented three categories: « Innovative Craftsmanship, » « Beijing-Style Trendy Fun, » and « Brilliant Accessory World. »

The premium cultural creations exhibition area at the Beijing Cultural Forum used the « Beijing Cultural Creativity Map » as its narrative theme, integrating display, experience, and consumption functions. The selection process emphasized everything from innovative cultural product development methods to the latest technological achievement applications, fully demonstrating the most recent accomplishments of Beijing as both a national cultural center and technological innovation hub.

Palace Museum

These crafts, which include cloisonné (Jingtailan), ivory carving, and jade work, flourished during the Ming and Qing dynasties, often under imperial patronage. They represent the pinnacle of Chinese artisan skill and are celebrated for their intricate beauty and cultural significance.

National Museum
