Addis Ababa Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and First Lady Zinash Tayachew hosted the annual Easter banquet at Unity Park, bringing together a diverse group of community members to celebrate the occasion.

This gathering reflected the spirit of Easter, one of the most important religious celebrations in Ethiopia.

Across the country, Christians from various denominations unite during this holy time, holding onto shared values of hope, sacrifice, and renewal.

After weeks of fasting and spiritual reflection, Easter arrives with the joy of worship, festive feasts, and warm family gatherings.

The Prime Minister’s office stated that Easter is not just an occasion for celebration, but also an opportunity to spread compassion and love.

It urged citizens to open their homes and hearts to those in need, embodying the true meaning of the holiday.
