On June 16, the theme activity of the “Central and Local Integration Empowers Leading Innovation Development” 2025 Shanghai Pudong New Area Expo Central and Local Integration Regional Party Building Joint Meeting (hereinafter referred to as the “Joint Meeting”) was held at the China Baowu Tower. Leaders from Pudong New Area, the Municipal Economic and Information Commission, and companies such as China Baowu, COMAC, and China Digital Logistics attended the event.
In 2024, the Joint Meeting adhered to party-building leadership empowerment, fully played the role of the platform, promoted integration of central and local enterprises, and achieved mutual development. Currently, the region has gathered 139 various central enterprises. A batch of key central enterprises including China Digital Logistics, China Mineral National Chain, and Huadian Combustion Engine Company have newly settled in Expo. Central enterprises such as Chinalco Trading, China Copper Trading, and China Gold Trading lead the development of the Expo area’s bulk commodity international trade ecological integration zone. Central enterprises such as the Nuclear Power Operation Research Company and Huaneng Nuclear Energy Technology Institute have helped the Expo’s central enterprises in science and innovation achieve several national firsts.
