From June 23 to 29, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization will jointly hold a series of Energy Conservation Promotion Week activities with various districts, committees, and enterprises under the theme of “Energy Conservation and Efficiency Enhancement, Leading with Innovation”.
The event adopts a collaborative mode of “government platform, enterprise support, district coordination, and public participation”, organizing about 400 green-themed activities covering various fields. This series of events, branded as “Green Action in Shanghai”, aims to weave a dense “green network” across the city, infusing the concepts of energy-saving and green development from schools to communities, and from factories to business districts, integrating them into the daily lives of citizens.
Each district has carefully planned a series of energy conservation promotional activities. In Huangpu District, there is a parent-child interaction leading with creativity; the “Parent-Child Workshop – Seed Blind Box Plan” recruits parent-child teams to spread green seeds among families. Xuhui District focuses on green empowerment for a renewed life; shopping mall collaborations plus quiz interactions popularize energy-saving knowledge. Jing’an District promotes sports and fitness for a low-carbon lifestyle; advocating for white-collar groups to practice green living after work.
