On April 16, during an inspection in Zhijiang City, Yichang, it was emphasized that it is essential to thoroughly study and implement the important discourse on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, firmly grasp the general requirements, and effectively transform the results of study and education into practical outcomes that promote high-quality economic and social development and create a high-quality life for the people.
At Xiannv Town’s Xiangxiang Village, inspections were conducted on citrus cultivation, specialty beef cattle breeding, and the integrated development of agriculture, culture, and tourism. Exchanges were held with leaders of grassroots organizations and “new farmers” who have returned to their hometowns to start businesses. It was emphasized that by relying on the lever of “returning home to start businesses” and the dual drivers of “agricultural technological innovation and comprehensive rural reform,” modern agriculture characterized by “appropriate scale, advanced technology, well-known brands, and operational efficiency” should be vigorously developed to accelerate the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.
At the Aomi Medical Equipment Industrial Park, an introduction was given on the large-scale and intelligent production of medical dressings. It was expressed that the enterprise should fully leverage its advantages of a complete industrial chain and collaborative innovation, continuously strengthen product technological innovation, business model innovation, and operational management innovation, constantly shape new competitive advantages in domestic and international markets, and make greater contributions to accelerating the development of the province’s big health industry.
During the inspection, a retired veteran Party member was visited and comforted, thanking her for her contributions to the Party’s work and serving the people over decades. It was emphasized that veteran Party members should be taken as role models to inherit the Party’s glorious traditions and fine style of work, to be dedicated and responsible in one’s post, and to better achieve political accomplishments for the people through practical work.
At a symposium, reports were heard on the progress of study and education activities in Yichang City and Zhijiang City, and in-depth exchanges were held with enterprise and grassroots representatives to listen to opinions and suggestions. It was emphasized that it is necessary to deeply study and comprehend the important discourse on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, accurately grasp the deployment requirements regarding study and education, and focus on three questions to further advance “deep study, genuine investigation, and practical rectification” in place. First, at the value level, “conforming to laws, suiting reality, and benefiting the people” should be taken as the fundamental requirement to ensure that all work measures follow the laws of economic and social development, suit the actual conditions of the region, department, or unit, align with the fundamental interests of the people while balancing immediate and long-term interests. Second, it is essential to fully recognize that establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements is an inevitable requirement for deeply advancing the Party’s self-reform and maintaining its advanced nature and purity, for improving governance capability and administrative proficiency to effectively respond to various risks and challenges, and for promoting high-quality development, efficient governance, and creating a high-quality life. Third, efforts and results must be made in deep study and comprehension, genuine investigation and practical rectification, and long-term governance and effectiveness. This involves guiding the broad ranks of Party members and cadres to firmly establish a people-oriented governance philosophy and a people-centered development ideology, to deeply practice the Party’s ideological line of seeking truth from facts and the basic strategy of governing the country according to law, to systematically master and be adept at applying modern governance methodology, and to adhere to scientific decision-making, diligent and pragmatic work, unity and struggle, and integrity and honesty. With more scientific and pragmatic measures, efforts should be made to promote the high-quality economic and social development of the province and to create solid achievements that can stand the test of practice, the people, and history.
