The 3rd National Skills Competition commenced on September 19 in Zhengzhou, Henan, with 3,420 participants from 35 delegations competing across 106 events over a five-day period.

Participants ranged from 16-year-old “rising skill stars” to 57-year-old “veteran masters,” including both corporate employees and students from vocational institutions, all showcasing their expertise on the same stage.

For the first time, a special rural revitalization event was introduced. Competitions in emerging fields such as smart manufacturing, industrial internet, and artificial intelligence accounted for over 50% of the events. Seventeen new professional events highlighted the latest trends in technological and skill development.

This event stands as China’s highest-level, most diverse, largest-scale, and most influential comprehensive national vocational skills competition.
