September 3 marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. At 9 a.m. that day, a commemorative assembly will be held at Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. A speech will be delivered and troops will be reviewed.
At 8 p.m. that evening, a theatrical performance titled “Justice Will Prevail,” commemorating the victory, will take place at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Attendance is expected.

Tiananmen Square
