On September 4, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department met in Beijing with a delegation from the Bulgarian Socialist Party led by its party chairman and Deputy Prime Minister.

He stated that under the guidance of the two countries’ leaders, the China-Bulgaria strategic partnership has maintained high-level development. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Bulgarian side to implement the important consensus reached by the two countries’ leaders, strengthen exchanges between the two parties, deepen people-to-people and cultural exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and promote the development of bilateral relations.

The Bulgarian side highly appreciated China’s peaceful foreign policy and the significant achievements of Chinese modernization, expressing willingness to enhance exchanges between the two parties, strengthen mutual learning, and promote Bulgaria-China cooperation and the development of EU-China relations.
