The 2nd Guangzhou Outstanding Health Science Popularization Works Competition (referred to as the “Competition”) has officially commenced.

On August 30, the Competition will officially enter the submission phase. Professionals from the city’s health system, education, sports, media, and other related units are sincerely invited to actively participate. Use professional knowledge and innovative formats to convey authoritative, engaging, and practical health knowledge, collectively contributing to the improvement of public health literacy.

Register through the official website or the official WeChat public account. (See registration guide for details)

Participants must download the “Registration Form” in advance, fill in the relevant information truthfully, have it stamped with the official seal of their affiliated unit, scan it, and upload it together with the entry to the registration system. A successful upload constitutes a successful registration.

Important Notes:

① The Competition features two categories: Short Video and Graphic & Text.

Short Video Category:

Entries must possess clear narrative, exquisite visuals, and excellent sound quality.

▶ Duration: ≤5 minutes.

▶ Format: MP4 format, resolution not lower than 1080P, file size not exceeding 500MB.

▶ Audio: Mandarin/Yue (Cantonese), narration and dialogue must include subtitles.

▶ Cover Image: Uniform JPG format, landscape size 1920×1080px or portrait size 1080×1920px.

Graphic & Text Category:

Entries should feature vivid language, aesthetically pleasing design, and strong communicative power.

▶ Formats: Popular science articles (not exceeding 2000 words, with no less than 3 images), long graphics/flyers/bulletin board/poster sets (4-8 pieces, submitted as one entry).

▶ Format: Text in Word/WPS document format; images uniformly in JPG format (poster size requirement 60cm×80cm, resolution not lower than 300dpi, single image size not exceeding 10M).

▶ Cover Image: Uniform JPG format, size requirement 1920×1080px.

② Entries must be original works that have not won awards in municipal or higher-level competitions. The creation period should be between September 2024 and August 2025. Participants may submit no more than 3 entries per category, with each entry limited to one theme. Each entry may have no more than 3 authors.
