On the eve of the “National Day for Science and Technology Workers,” a visit was made to the Tianjin Aerospace Long March Rocket Manufacturing Co., Ltd. This place is an important birthplace of the Long March 5 series carrier rocket “Fat Five”. Here we met a national youth post skill master, 36-year-old aerospace craftsman Yao Yachao.

In the workshop, the metal wall panel structural components are not small, measuring 5 meters in length and 3 meters in width. Four of these can form a segment of the rocket’s “aluminum shell”. The thinnest parts are only about 2 millimeters thick, equivalent to the thickness of 6 eggshells.
