According to the disciplinary inspection and supervision team stationed at the China Securities Regulatory Commission by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, and the Suqian City Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision in Jiangsu Province, Yang Jiaohong, former director of the Fourth Supervision Department of the Issuance Supervision Division at the China Securities Regulatory Commission, has been subjected to disciplinary review and supervisory investigation for serious violations of discipline and law.

The investigation found that Yang Jiaohong abandoned his ideals and convictions, deviating from his original mission. During his tenure and even after leaving office, he exploited his position and influence to subscribe to pre-IPO shares of companies, becoming a typical case of “escape-style resignation” corruption. He was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, evading organizational scrutiny through methods such as “white gloves” and “shadow shareholders,” colluding with others to fabricate testimonies, destroying or concealing evidence, and resisting investigations. He violated the Central Eight-Point Regulations by improperly accepting gifts and gift cards. Abandoning integrity, he subscribed to pre-IPO shares through “last-minute investments,” obtaining huge illegal profits.

Yang Jiaohong seriously violated the Party’s political discipline, the Central Eight-Point Regulations, and integrity discipline, constituting severe duty-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Even after the Party’s 18th and 20th National Congresses, he showed no restraint, reflecting a grave and damaging nature that warrants severe punishment. In accordance with the “Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China” and the “Supervision Law of the People’s Republic of China,” the Party Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission decided to expel Yang Jiaohong from the Party and confiscate his illicit gains. The Suqian City Supervisory Commission in Jiangsu Province resolved to transfer Yang Jiaohong’s suspected crimes to the procuratorial authorities for legal review and prosecution, along with the involved assets.
