Guangdong Super League opening ceremony: Dongguan intangible cultural heritage appears at Yuexiushan Stadium, the green field is full of style

On April 25, the opening ceremony of the 2026 Guangdong Provincial Urban Football Super League (Guangdong Super League) will be grandly held at the Yuexiushan Stadium in Guangzhou. Dongguan intangible cultural heritage will make an appearance with the “Dongguan · Future” themed parade formation, injecting profound cultural heritage of Dongguan into this top provincial competition.

During the parade, custom intangible cultural heritage themed costumes will lead the way, and Dongguan intangible cultural heritage props such as agarwood wood, incense burners, thousand-lantern models, dragon boats, lion heads, and kylin heads will all be displayed, bringing the intangible cultural heritage of thousand-year-old Dongguan onto the top provincial competition stage, empowering the competition with culture and letting intangible cultural heritage shine on the green field.
