August 15, 2025, marks the third National Ecology Day. Two decades ago on this date, the scientific assertion that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” was first proposed in Anji, Zhejiang. This concept has become a core principle of ecological civilization.
Building an ecological civilization benefits both current and future generations. Guided by this vision, China has actively raised public awareness of ecological conservation, strengthened voluntary commitment to environmental protection, and achieved continuous progress in ecological development, contributing to a cleaner and more beautiful world.
