Chinese people’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression
The Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1937–1945) was a pivotal conflict in which China resisted Japan’s invasion during World War II. Marked by brutal battles, such as the Nanjing Massacre, and widespread resistance efforts, it ended with Japan’s surrender in 1945. The war strengthened Chinese nationalism and is commemorated as a key event in modern Chinese history.
World Anti-Fascist War
The **World Anti-Fascist War** refers to the global conflict against fascist Axis powers (1937–1945), primarily World War II, which included key events like the Allied resistance and major battles in Europe and Asia. It holds deep historical significance, particularly in China, where the **War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1937–1945)** is commemorated as part of this struggle. Memorials and museums, such as those in Beijing and Nanjing, honor the sacrifices made and promote peace.
Eastern Front
The Eastern Front refers to the vast theater of combat during World War II (1941–1945) between Nazi Germany and its allies against the Soviet Union. It was one of the deadliest conflicts in history, marked by brutal battles like Stalingrad and the Siege of Leningrad, with immense casualties and widespread devastation. The Soviet victory here was a turning point in the war, leading to the eventual defeat of Nazi Germany.
