“Remember that summer when the sun was blazing, the leaves were shimmering, and young you had nothing. Yet your heart was full of ideals…” Recently, Li Yuchun’s new song “Amateur” MV was released. Accompanied by the singing, she runs across overpasses, campuses, and streets of Chengdu, moving forward all the way. Today, let’s unlock the filming locations in the MV and tour Chengdu with Li Yuchun.

Blue Roof Art District

At the beginning of the MV, Li Yuchun starts from the Blue Roof Art District, running in the dark night.

The Blue Roof Art District is a nationally renowned gathering place for contemporary original art, hosting over 200 well-known artists and more than 30 creative institutions and industrial workshops specializing in sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, lacquer painting, digital animation, and more. In 2013, it was recognized as a cultural industry demonstration base in Sichuan Province and Chengdu City; in 2018, it was awarded the title of one of the first “Chengdu Cultural and Creative Industrial Parks.”

Xicun Courtyard

At dawn, Li Yuchun steps onto the vibrant running track of Xicun Courtyard.

Xicun Courtyard, designed by a renowned architect, is famous for its unique “enclosed” layout and “local life” concept. The courtyard draws inspiration from the basin and hotpot’s enclosed form, built along the edges of the block to fully utilize the street’s vitality, enclosing a park-like super-large courtyard. The rooftop running track is one of its iconic designs, with a total length of 1.6 kilometers circling the central open courtyard, providing a unique sports experience for running enthusiasts and an excellent spot to overlook Chengdu’s urban scenery.

Sichuan Film and Television College

Continuing forward, Li Yuchun runs among the European-style buildings of the Anren Campus of Sichuan Film and Television College.

The campus features a period real-life block that recreates architectural scenes combining nearly a century of Chinese urban charm and Western classical styles, including historically characteristic street scenes, ancestral halls, churches, and a cultural street scene of Chinese century-old universities based on the architectural style of Mr. Liang Sicheng.

Tianbaowan Bridge

As sunlight breaks through the clouds, Li Yuchun runs onto Tianbaowan Bridge.

Tianbaowan Bridge is located on Shenyang Road, one of the “four horizontal and four vertical” road networks in Chengdu Tianfu New Area. Its bridgehead design incorporates Chengdu’s regional cultural characteristics, abstractly summarizing the image of bamboo shoots, with the auspicious meaning of “rising steadily,” symbolizing the development of Tianfu New Area like spring bamboo shoots after rain, full of vitality. Its overall shape highlights the modern urban气质 of Tianfu New Area while endowing the bridge with regional cultural connotations and hopeful aspirations.

Xinglong Lake

Finally, Li Yuchun runs with the wind toward a sea of flowers, this beautiful scene is from Xinglong Lake.

Xinglong Lake is known as the “city’s living room,” with a lake area of about 4,500 acres and an 8.8-kilometer lakeside greenway. Surrounding the lake is the China West (Chengdu) Science City, which includes
