Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that no decision has been made yet regarding the conduct of local body elections.
During a formal interaction with media representatives in New Delhi, the CM said that the bill related to 42% reservation for backward classes is pending with the President. Cases regarding the timeline for the President’s decision are in the Supreme Court. We are now awaiting the Supreme Court’s decision on this matter.

After the decision comes, we will discuss it with legal experts and then make a decision. Should we go to court again or not? We will decide only after that. Referring to defector MLAs, he said there are no clear rules regarding defection. There is no clarity even among BRS leaders on the issue of MLAs switching parties. Harish Rao had said in the assembly that the party has 37 MLAs, while KTR is stating another number. He questioned whether if we welcome those coming to our home, would that be considered party switching?
