The Citizen’s Account program confirmed that beneficiaries are not required to update their data in the program when renewing a lease, provided that the contract is registered and activated through the “Ejar” electronic platform.
The program explained in a statement that the process of verifying the validity of the lease contract is carried out automatically and periodically through direct electronic linkage with the “Ejar” platform.
It noted that as long as the beneficiary has previously selected the facility type as “active lease contract,” the system will continue to verify the existence of an active contract without the need for the beneficiary to intervene or reattach a copy of the renewed contract.
This measure is part of the program’s ongoing efforts to simplify procedures for citizens, facilitate the beneficiary journey, and reduce administrative burdens on them.
This technical linkage enhances the efficiency of data verification and ensures that support reaches eligible recipients based on accurate and immediately updated information.
The program emphasized the importance of having all data, including lease contracts used as proof of independence, correctly and officially registered on approved government platforms to ensure that the beneficiary’s eligibility and entitlement to monthly support are not affected.
