The Regent of Tangerang requested all parties, especially employees within the Tangerang Regency Government, to be sensitive in responding to the current national developments by watching their words and actions.
“We are all public servants, so we must be careful. Guard your speech, attitude, and actions. We must all set an example for the community, work according to our duties and functions, and be based on applicable rules and norms,” he emphasized while leading the Monday morning assembly at Aria Yudhanegara Field, the Center of Tangerang Regency Government.
He stressed the importance of self-introspection for civil servants as public servants. Because civil servants are paid and provided welfare by the people, their main obligation is to provide the best service.
“Do not show immaturity and a lack of understanding of your duties and functions. If there are colleagues who forget or are negligent, let us remind each other and improve together. The community needs our service,” he urged.
Furthermore, he invited all employees to always pray that the Indonesian nation is kept away from all disasters and to maintain stability in the Tangerang Regency area.
“The current developing situation and conditions are certainly our shared concern. Let us all pray that similar events do not happen again, especially in this beloved Tangerang Regency,” he said.
On the same occasion, the Regent also launched the Brilliant Bringing and Ensuring People’s Health (MMR) program from the Tangerang Regency Health Office and symbolically handed over Regional Budget-Funded Health Insurance (BPJS Kesehatan PBI APBD) cards.
This MMR program is a program to activate the membership of the Tangerang Regency’s Regional Budget-Funded Health Insurance (BPJS Kesehatan PBI) directly at the Community Health Centers (Puskesmas).
“This program aims to bring health service access closer to the community, one of which is through the ease of activating Regional Budget-Funded Health Insurance (BPJS PBI) membership directly at the community health center without having to come to the office,” he explained.
