Qixi Festival

The Qixi Festival, also known as the Chinese Valentine’s Day, is a traditional holiday originating from the Han Dynasty that celebrates the annual meeting of the cowherd and weaver girl in Chinese mythology. It is observed on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month and involves customs where young women pray for skill in needlework and wish for a good husband.
