From the early afternoon of August 27, a large number of people flocked to the central streets of Hanoi to “secure spots” and wait to watch the military parade rehearsal. Everyone was joyful and excited, eagerly anticipating the moment when columns of officers, soldiers, along with modern vehicles and equipment… would march through the streets of the capital.
