Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Tibet Autonomous Region Held Grandly, Xi Jinping Attends the Event
On the morning of August 21, approximately 20,000 cadres and people from various ethnic groups and sectors in Tibet gathered at the Potala Palace Square in Lhasa to warmly celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Tibet Autonomous Region. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, President of the State, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the celebration.

Potala Palace

Tibet Autonomous Region
