On June 9, 2025, the national college entrance examination in China entered its third day, with most provinces concluding the exams. Provinces such as Hebei, Shanxi, Jilin, and Jiangsu will finish all examinations today, while Beijing, Tianjin, Zhejiang, and Shandong will conclude tomorrow.
Next, candidates will enter the phase of checking their scores and filling out college preferences, with many regions already having announced the relevant dates.
College Entrance Exams Conclude Today in Several Provinces
According to the Ministry of Education, there are 13.35 million registrants for the 2025 national college entrance exam. There are 7,899 examination sites nationwide, with 355,000 examination rooms, 21,000 backup examination rooms, and 1.05 million invigilators arranged. Additionally, this year achieved 100% full coverage of real-time intelligent inspections in examination rooms.
This year, 29 provinces implemented the new college entrance exam format, while Tibet and Xinjiang still follow the traditional “Chinese, Mathematics, Foreign Language + Humanities/Social Science Comprehensive/Science Comprehensive” format
