Krasnodar, June 17. New rules for the placement and maintenance of informational structures were approved in Krasnodar at the 91st extraordinary meeting of the City Council. Deputies set a deadline for bringing signs into compliance with the changes. They will now have a unified appearance.

— When developing the Rules, we used the successful experience of the capital and other major Russian cities. It is important to bring the external appearance of Krasnodar to a unified visual style, while preserving the identity of the historical center and main streets, especially objects of cultural heritage.

Information structures in the territory of the historical settlement, on main streets and along highways, for which additional landscaping requirements are established, entrepreneurs will have to put in order within three months from the date of publication of the decision. In rural districts — within six months

About: historical center

The term “historical center” often refers to the oldest core of a city or town, which retains buildings, streets, and architectural styles of significant historical and cultural value. These areas are usually characterized by their narrow streets, ancient structures, and significant landmarks that date back to the period of the city’s earliest developments. Historical centers serve not only as a window into the past, showing the architectural and urban planning styles of different eras, but also as vibrant hubs of contemporary urban life, often bustling with shops, restaurants, and cultural activities.

About: main streets

Main streets are central thoroughfares commonly found in towns and cities across the globe, often serving as focal points for local commerce, culture, and community activities. Historically, these streets were the primary locations for markets, public gatherings, and parades, helping to shape the economic and social structures of their communities. Today, main streets continue to embody the heritage and local flavor of a region, frequently hosting events that celebrate community identity and history, while also adapting to modern retail and tourism trends.
