The disease particularly affects children and has a severe impact in low and middle-income countries. The effectiveness of antibiotics used to treat it is diminishing, which increases the need for this vaccine.
The altSonflex1-2-3 vaccine is based on GMMA technology, which enhances the body’s immune response through the outer membrane of bacteria. This technology is affordable, effective, and scalable, making the vaccine accessible to poor and developing countries.
