Hyderabad, KPHB police have arrested six accused so far in the case of placing offensive and misleading banners aimed at tarnishing the image of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Member of Parliament Eetela Rajender.

Police said that these banners were placed on a foot overbridge in KPHB in an attempt to damage the reputation of the BJP and the MP. In this connection, a case was registered at KPHB police station under Crime Number 714/2026 under Sections 352 and 353(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Police arrested the accused Janyavula Ramakrishna (51) and Gazula Rakesh (34) today. Meanwhile, Syed Kudrat Ahmed (50), Syed Meraj (35), Shaikh Kaleem (31), and Nasiruddin alias Afroz (32) were already arrested on June 6. Police are conducting further investigation into the case.
