Currently, the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas is formulating a rule regarding the minimum size of subsidized houses at 18 square meters. If this rule is signed, the installment price could become cheaper.
The Director General of Urban Housing stated that the current installment for subsidized houses is still around Rp 1 million per month. Later, if the new rule regarding the size of subsidized houses is signed, the installment price could be as low as Rp 600,000 per month.
