A woman in her 50s from Minami Ward, Sapporo, reported to Sapporo Minami Police Station on the 19th that she was deceived into handing over 1 million yen in cash by a man claiming to be an Osaka Prefectural Police officer. The police station is investigating the case as a special fraud incident.
