TARUMAJAYA – Breaking… The People’s Festival Carnival enlivened the 80th Independence Day celebration of the Republic of Indonesia in Segerajaya Village, Tarumajaya District, Bekasi Regency.
Thousands of villagers took to the streets, including a member of the Bekasi Regency Regional House of Representatives, who participated in the Red and White Independence Carnival held at the Village Office Plaza.
“This is a form of closeness in Segerajaya Village, where everyone from the elderly to children poured out to enliven the Anniversary of our country, the Republic of Indonesia. I am very touched to be given the opportunity to participate in this carnival among the people of Segerajaya Village,” they said.
At the same location, the Head of Segerajaya Village was seen to be very enthusiastic because of the euphoria of the villagers in commemorating the 80th Independence Day of Indonesia.
“The participation of the community in today’s Carnival proves that the community has not forgotten history and this will also be a space for expression for the community to show creativity, togetherness, and a sense of unity and love for the homeland,” they emphasized.
The former member of the Regional House of Representatives also said that the Segerajaya Village Government has prepared various competitions and entertainment events to enliven the independence festivities commemorating Indonesia’s Independence Day.
“This is a real action of the spirit of unity and love for the homeland. This is a historic moment for the residents of Segerajaya Village to preserve the culture of independence which is commemorated every year,” they hoped.
