The 2025 “Enjoy Shanghai” consumer voucher program has introduced new benefits. Today, three types of vouchers—travel, sports, and culture—are being released simultaneously on a first-come, first-served basis, covering tourism, sports, and cultural consumption to provide multiple discounts for residents’ leisure activities.
The “Enjoy Shanghai Travel Vouchers” will be available starting at 10:00 AM on August 15, with subsequent releases every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 10:00 AM (excluding October 3-5). These vouchers include discounts for accommodations, rural homestays, and attractions, usable at designated tourism businesses, with maximum savings of up to 360 yuan.
The “Enjoy Shanghai Sports Vouchers” will begin distribution at 11:00 AM on August 15, followed by weekly releases every Friday at 11:00 AM until October 16. Vouchers must be redeemed within 7 days at participating sports venues or event platforms, with a list of eligible merchants available through official channels.
The “Enjoy Shanghai Culture Vouchers” will be distributed in two rounds. During the first round from August 15 to September 13, vouchers can be claimed between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM every Friday and Saturday, valid for 7 days after redemption. These vouchers cover diverse cultural experiences, including theater, musicals, comedy shows, and live music venues.
Residents can claim vouchers through official online platforms, including UnionPay, Alipay, and WeChat. Once claimed, vouchers are automatically stored in personal digital accounts. Whether used at participating physical stores or through online ticketing and hotel booking platforms, the system will automatically recognize and apply eligible vouchers during payment, offering a seamless experience from claiming to redemption.
