This year, the region has seen an increase in fines for tourists and locals violating environmental laws.
In 2025, inspectors recorded 444 violations. During the same period last year, only 282 legal breaches were detected. Authorities held 413 offenders accountable, compared to 147 individuals the previous year.
The total fines this year rose to 4,622,500 rubles—an increase of 127,000 rubles compared to 2024.
Most violations involved non-compliance with protected natural area regulations and improper disposal of industrial and consumer waste, according to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Krasnodar Krai.
Also noted: violations by the regional waste management operator LLC “Chistaya Stanitsa” were uncovered by inspectors from the Krasnodar Krai branch of Rospotrebnadzor.
