According to the report document obtained, the police report is recorded under number LP/B/2398/VI/2026/SPKT/POLRESTABES MEDAN/POLDA NORTH SUMATRA, dated June 5, 2026.

In the report, AS is named as the reported party for alleged acts related to domestic violence, domestic neglect, and alleged involvement with another woman.

In addition to pursuing legal channels, the family, through the legal representative of AS’s wife, Ricky Panjaitan, has also sent an official letter to the Rector of UIN North Sumatra.

The letter requests clarification and urges the university to investigate and take appropriate action if disciplinary or ethical violations are found.

“There are allegations of discrepancies in official travel activities, alleged closeness to a woman with the initials A.Z.S., as well as alleged activities at several nightlife venues in Medan City,” Ricky said to journalists in Medan on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

He also revealed an alleged incident at a hotel in Medan City that reportedly involved family and witnesses, with AS suspected of being in a state of diminished consciousness at the time.

“This information is still part of the complaint submitted by the reporting party and has not yet received a response or clarification from the reported party,” Ricky added.

Ricky also mentioned alleged neglect of financial support since the beginning of the marriage, a lack of transparency in family financial management, and various domestic issues that reportedly led to the breakdown of the marital relationship.

“We request that UIN North Sumatra provide clarification on this matter within three days of receiving the letter, and we demand a written apology and firm action from the educational institution if violations by this academic official are found,” he concluded.
