The Toba Regency Council approved the draft RPJMD for 2025-2029 to be enacted as a regional regulation during the council’s plenary session.
Before approval, each faction in the plenary session, led by the Chairman of the Toba Regency Council, presented their final views on the draft RPJMD for 2025-2029.
“We, from the PDIP Faction, fully support the current draft RPJMD being established as a regional regulation so that the vision and mission of the Toba Regent, ‘Toba Mantap 2029,’ can be achieved effectively,” said the PDIP Faction spokesperson.
Similarly, the Golkar Faction, the Nasdem-PSI Party Faction, the Democratic Indonesia Faction, and the PKB Party Faction fully accepted the draft RPJMD to be enacted as a regional regulation.
Meanwhile, the final view of the Gerindra Party Faction included various suggestions to the Toba Regent, ranging from performance improvements to public services. They also emphasized the need to establish a Region-Owned Enterprise (BUMD), as the region currently lacks one.
“This is certainly worth considering so that local revenue can increase. It is also important to prepare for Indonesia’s Golden Year 2045, which is currently a national development program,” they stated.
