Tripoli, June 6, 2026 – The head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, congratulated Al-Sweihli club, its players, management, and fans on their first-ever victory in the Libyan Premier League football title, achieved against Al-Nasr club.
Dbeibeh said that this championship is well-deserved after great effort throughout an entire season, unlimited fan support, and high sportsmanship, which culminated today with this cup.
The head of the Government of National Unity also saluted Al-Nasr club for their competitive spirit and outstanding performance throughout the tournament journey, wishing all Libyan clubs success in future competitions.
