Indonesian men’s doubles badminton players Raymond Indra and Nikolaus Joaquin advanced to the semifinals after defeating Japanese men’s doubles players Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi in the quarterfinals of the Indonesia Open 2026 at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, Friday (5/6). Indra and Joaquin fought hard against the Japanese men’s doubles, winning in three games with scores of 16-21, 24-22, 21-18.

Indonesian men’s doubles Raymond Indra and Nikolaus Joaquin returned the shuttlecock towards Japanese men’s doubles Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi.

In the first game, Indra and Joaquin were initially overwhelmed against the world number nine men’s doubles pair.

The match concluded with a third game won by the men’s doubles pair from Bandung and Jakarta with a score of 21-18.
