At Yurigahara Park in Kita Ward, Sapporo, a geranium exhibition is being held to brighten the summer of 2026.

Colorful geraniums in pink, purple, and other shades are vividly decorating the venue.

At the “Yurigahara Park Green Center” in Kita Ward, Sapporo, over 200 geranium plants are on display.

Compared to the hot summers of Honshu, geraniums are well-suited for cultivation in Hokkaido, and some varieties can be enjoyed year-round, making them popular.

The geranium exhibition is open until June 21.
