Over 50 artists explore, experience, and tell the story of Ho Chi Minh City through the reality TV series Wow Ho Chi Minh City, helping to promote the city’s culture and tourism to people both inside and outside the country.

On the occasion of the anniversary, T Production collaborated with other units to produce the reality TV series Wow Ho Chi Minh City. The program is part of the community art project Viet Nam Love.

Director and producer Tran Thanh Trung stated that Wow Ho Chi Minh City is a series introducing tourism and promoting the culture of Ho Chi Minh City. The program will tell the story of a dynamic, fresh, and modern Ho Chi Minh City.

“We hope these films will most authentically present a different and attractive perspective of Ho Chi Minh City, capturing the spirit of 2026,” he emphasized.

According to the format, Wow Ho Chi Minh City consists of 20 episodes, each designed as an experiential travel journey exploring culture.

Each episode features a tour guide and celebrity guests. Actress Kha Nhu, singer Ai Phuong, Miss Khanh Van, actress and content creator Thay Beo U40 take on the role of tour guides.

Each episode has three parts: a city greeting (in a cinematic style), a city story (introducing eateries, destinations, restaurants, hotels), and a surprise mission (guests take photos, record videos, and follow trends to promote Ho Chi Minh City’s image).

Each tour guide will join guest artists on a “personalized city tour” exploring destinations such as iconic city landmarks, hot spots, bustling neighborhoods of the new metropolis, and culinary paradises. Guests have the opportunity to travel using various means of transportation in the city.

It was the capital of French Indochina and later the capital of South Vietnam until the end of the Vietnam War in 1975, when it was renamed after the communist leader Ho Chi Minh. Today, the city blends modern skyscrapers with historic French colonial architecture and vibrant markets, reflecting its complex past and dynamic present.

Viet Nam Love

“Viet Nam Love” is a cultural and artistic initiative that celebrates the rich heritage and emotional depth of Vietnamese traditions, often through music, poetry, and visual arts. It emerged in the early 21st century as a grassroots movement to preserve and share the country’s romantic and resilient spirit, drawing on historical influences from the ancient Trung Sisters to modern wartime love stories. The project highlights how love and devotion have shaped Vietnam’s cultural identity across centuries of change.
