Hyderabad, Commissioner inspected the areas of Medina Nagar, Santosh Nagar Circle, Charminar Zone that were waterlogged due to rain. He directed the officials to adopt immediate permanent and temporary measures to ensure proper drainage during rainfall.

The Commissioner instructed the officials to temporarily pump water and develop a long-term drainage plan.

Commissioner gave guidelines for temporary drain pumping and long-term water planning

Officials were directed to immediately install pumping plants for rainwater drainage, remove water from low-lying areas, and develop a permanent water flow control system. The Commissioner stated that the maintenance wing would work on removing the current waterlogging, while the projects wing would create long-term solutions to prevent future flooding.
