Hyderabad: A butcher died after suffering a brain stroke while cutting goat meat during Bakrid in the Chadarghat police station area.

Police reported that Tingilkar Ashok (40), son of Tingilkar Kishanji, a resident of Penjerla village, Kottur mandal, Mahbubnagar, was a goat meat seller. He had gone to the home of Ibrahim Khan, a resident of Paltan New Malkpet, to cut goat meat for Bakrid.

While cutting meat, he suffered a brain stroke, fainted, and fell, causing an internal head injury. A 108 ambulance was called to take him to the hospital, but the ambulance staff who arrived at the scene examined Ashok and declared him dead. Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and sent Ashok’s body to the Osmania Hospital mortuary for an autopsy.
